Key Responsibilities:

• System Installation and Configuration:
– Installing, configuring, and upgrading operating systems, servers, and other hardware and software.
– Managing user accounts and permissions.
– Configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

• System Monitoring and Maintenance:
– Monitoring system performance and resource utilization.
– Troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
– Performing regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
– Applying security patches and updates.

• Network Administration:
– Maintaining network infrastructure and connectivity.
– Troubleshooting network problems.
– Managing network security and access control.

• User Support:
– Providing technical support to end-users.
– Assisting with software installations and troubleshooting.
– Training users on system usage and best practices.

• Security Management:
– Implementing and enforcing security policies.
– Monitoring for security threats and vulnerabilities.
– Responding to security incidents.

• Documentation:
– Maintaining system and network documentation.
– Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures.

Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux)
• Experience with networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
