Job offer: Compliance Officer

• *Regulatory Compliance:* Ensure the institution complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) and other regulatory bodies.
• *Policy Development:* Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
• *Risk Management:* Identify and assess compliance risks, and apply appropriate mitigation measures.
• *Monitoring and Reporting:* Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews. Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.
• *Training and Awareness:* Promote a culture of compliance by providing training and support to staff on regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• *Customer Due Diligence:* Perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) and ongoing monitoring of customer transactions to detect and deter money laundering and terrorist financing activities.
• *Sanction Screening:* Review and manage alerts related to sanctioned individuals, entities, and countries.
• *Incident Management:* Investigate and report suspicious activities and transactions in accordance with the institution's policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in both Khmer and English.
