We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for a position of Communication &Knowledge Management Intern (Based in Phnom Penh) in Cambodia for the USAID Enhancing Quality of Healthcare Activity II (EQHA II). USAID Enhancing Quality of Healthcare Activity (EQHA) II is a five-year project (October 23, 2023 – October 22, 2028) led by FHI 360 and in partnership with KHANA, Kawsang, ThinkWell, Data Elevates, HACC and SwipeRx that aims to further improve and sustain service quality by strengthening a harmonized Cambodian high-quality health system that will lead to better health outcomes for all Cambodians.
EQHA II builds on the successes to date of the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) and development partners and aims at achieving three objectives:
- Improved evidence-based policy, guidelines, and strategies for more effective and efficient health systems
- Improved individual and institutional capacity of the public and private sectors to implement, monitor, and evaluate QA according to the national standards
- Improved individual and institutional capacity of subnational health systems to provide quality services to address emerging national program priorities2.001.001
The Communications and Knowledge Management (KM) Intern will work under the supervision of the Communications and Knowledge Management Specialist. The intern will support the EQHA II team in designing, implementing, and monitoring the activities related to communications and knowledge management across all three objectives of the EQHA II project. This internship will last between three to six months. The intern's primary responsibilities include delivering effective and targeted communication messages through multiple channels to all EQHA II project stakeholders. Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to learn about the project and gain practical experience in coordinating with key EQHA staff. This role involves documenting and disseminating project lessons learned and best practices using various methods, aiming to strengthen the health system and enhance health services in both the public and private sectors in Cambodia.
