Objective:
– To manage, retain, and grow Key Accounts by delivering exceptional logistics solutions in airfreight, seafreight, and cross-border transport while achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Purpose of the Position:
– Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
– Identify growth opportunities through upselling and cross-selling services.
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
– Monitor account profitability and ensure compliance with agreements.
– Provide performance reports and forecast client needs.
– Facilitate seamless cross-border transport while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibility:
– Keep communication properly with the global account manager regarding customer’s requirements,
– Implement properly the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP),
– Maintain good relationships and monthly/quarterly business reviews with local customers,
– Develop new target accounts and sales leads,
– Handle Request for Quotation (RFQ) for all airfreight, seafreight, and other modes,
– Escalate local and global carriers for airfreight, seafreight, and cross-border transportation modes,
– Build good relationships and monthly/quarterly meetings with related carriers,
– Monitor the profit and loss report (P&L),
– Monitor monthly and quarterly forecast reports,
– Monitor monthly reports of the department,
– Other tasks are assigned by the Department Manager.
Requirement:
– Proven experience as a Key Account Manager,
– 3-5 years of experience in airfreight, seafreight, and cross-border transport,
– Experience in sales and marketing,
– Ability in problem-solving and negotiation,
– Computer skills (Ms. Word, Excel & PowerPoint),
– Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
