Job Purpose: The role of Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager is to lead the implementation of communications strategy for KVL businesses. Overseeing the management of all areas of marketing communications (advertising, public relations, direct marketing, collateral and social media) to ensure that our business is correctly positioned in line with the strategic direction of KVL businesses.
Duties
- KEY RESULT AREAS
- Manage the creation and production of all KVL business units and sales team collateral, branding and logo items ensuring all branding and company guidelines are followed.
- Respect KVL brand guidelines at all times and make sure all external design agencies are briefed accordingly.
- Ensure consistent style and tone of KVL copywriting and editing.
- Cultivate and foster relationships with like-minded brands and companies to gain exposures to the property.
- Support in e-mail marketing related activities.
- On property communication (be present for filming and photo shoot activity, both internal and external, conducting site tours when required).
- Coordinate with PR agency for the distribution of press releases to targeted media/media agencies.
- Ensure press material, image library, third-party websites etc. are updated and accurate
- Full social media management in coordination with the digital team from Vattanac Properties Ltd (VPL).
- Handle media inquiries and other organizations that could bring exposure.
- Ensure media and partners lists are accurate, updated and well maintained.
- Produce and submit PR, Marketing and social media activity report.
- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a monthly basis.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing communications campaigns.
- Build a network of KOLs and digital influencers that match our KVL brand identity.
- Maintains effective internal communication to ensure that all relevant departments are kept informed of marketing / communication objectives and initiatives.
- GENERAL
- Keep detailed files and records on all matters relative to property's public materials.
- Monitor activities of competitor hotels and trends within the industry. Inform and educate management team on these changes.
- Attend regular meeting and do annual appraisal for associates.
- Perform other duties assigned by line manager.
Requirements

- Years of related experience
- 3 to 5 years
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- Education / qualification
- Degree in Marketing or communication or related skills
- Essential Job Skills
- Good writing, editing and oral communication skills both in Khmer and English
- Ability to prioritize, organize work assignments and follow-up
- Execute a multitude of tasks in a timely basis
- Extremely detail oriented
- Creative talent • Confident and dynamic personality, team player
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision or cohesively as a team
- Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment
- Ability to work flexible hours, covering evenings, weekends and holiday periods when occasionally required

- Knowledge of main social channels and how they work
- Good knowledge of design software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, etc;) with basic design skills

- Experience within the hotel industry or PR agency is preferred
