Job Description:
– A MEP Service Engineer Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the activities of a team of MEP technicians.
– They ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and repaired according to project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of MEP technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
– Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of MEP installations and repairs.
– Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations.
– Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all team members adhere to safety guidelines.
– Resource Management: Optimize the use of manpower and resources to complete projects efficiently.
– Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with MEP systems during installation and maintenance.
– Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
– Training: Provide training and mentorship to technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
– Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
– Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure that costs are kept within limits.
– Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
– Experience: 3-5 years of experience in MEP engineering or a supervisory role.
– Skills: Strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
– Certifications: Optional certifications from recognized professional organizations can enhance job prospects.
– Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, proficiency with hand and power tools, and basic computer skills.
Work Environment:
