Job offer: Printer Repair Technician (service Technician)

Main Job and Responsibility:

– Responsible for maintaining and repairing printers, copiers, and other imaging devices.
– Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, install and configure printers, update drivers, provide technical support to end-users, and keep track of inventory and maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

– Diagnose and Repair: Identify and fix hardware and software issues with printers and related equipment.
– Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning printheads, updating firmware, and calibrating equipment.
– Customer Service: Communicate with clients to understand their issues, provide guidance, and inform them when repairs are complete.
– Order Parts: Source and order necessary parts for repairs and maintain an inventory of supplies.
– Testing and Calibration: Test and calibrate equipment to ensure it meets quality and performance standards.
– Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
– Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to team members and clients on printer setup and usage.
– Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest printer technology and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

– Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
– Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Printer Maintenance and Repair.
– Skills: Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, manual dexterity, and excellent communication skills.
– Certifications: Optional certifications from organizations like the Printer & Printing Products Association, or other recognized professional organizations can enhance job prospects.
