Having completed my Bachelor Degree in Interior Design at Limkokwing University (Phnom Penh Campus)I never recommend anyone who is serious about their education to study there. When I applied I heard a lot of different reviews, most quite positive, but as the years passed i started wondering if all the reviews had been bought.
The courses aren't well planned out, the materials/assignments are all left up to the lecturers. This would be fine if the lecturers were professionals, but the university hires quite few people who aren't qualified to teach and present the material. If the lecturers were local they thought it was okay to provide classwork (mandatory) in the local language, even though the university specifically states that the course is provided in English. This was done even when there were foreigners present in the class. The requirements and assignments were also quite often changed at the last minute.
Lecturers would also not show up for class and there would be no prior warning, on multiple occasions my class would wait for over an hour until we would either be notified or find someone who would then let us know that class was cancelled or rescheduled. Final exams and presentations would also be rescheduled at the last minute.
The final and most important reason why I would never recommend anyone study at Limkokwing is:
I've waited over 6 1/2 months already to receive my certificate and official transcripts only to be told that maybe I will be able to receive it in another 3 months. I have not been able to provide any proof to my workplace or apply for my Master's Degree.
Hope this helps.
