Job offer: Hse Engineering Manager (1 Position)

Shin Yeong Project Management (SYPM) was established in 2011, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, has all the qualifications for consulting services in Vietnam, and has experience in project management services for multiple projects in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Korea.

Since its establishment, SYPM has grown while meeting the various needs of customers throughout the construction industry. To do so, we have engineers and team members with experience in carrying out various projects. Currently, about 50 employees, including engineers with project experience in Vietnam or outside Vietnam, work under SYPM's name. They hold qualifications not only in Vietnam, but also abroad.

Along with this, SYPM executives and engineers have carried out 18 Grade 1 projects in Vietnam that is total of 7,794 units, and also have a lot of experience in construction projects in Southeast Asia and Korea. All services are provided to customers based on SYPM's professional knowledge in Vietnam.

To expand our business in Siem Reap, and Phnom Penh, Cambodia, we are looking for qualified candidates to fulfill the positions below:

Working hours: Mon- Sat 7:00-17:00

Working location: Wat Damnak Village, Sangkat Sala Kamreuk, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Duties

• Oversee construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the safety plan for subcontractor working plan.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Check and approve the progress for safety work with sub-contractors.
• Give advice to sub-contractors and team members such Engineer, Technician, and workers about safety issue.
• Develop and manage new safety method and strategy for improving and speeding up the project
• Safety Monitoring and liaise with project manager on the master plan and execution plan.
• Supervise, manage and motivate all site team including effective management of subcontractor activities on site ensuring they are engaged on target in line with safety education.
• Support project manager in develop a detailed safety project plan to monitoring on site.
• Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
• Other tasks assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Master or bachelor degree in Safety Engineering or Civil Engineering, Construction Management or another relevant field.
• Minimum 6 years working experience of HSE PMC Site Management.
• Experience in defining/developing HSE project management processes, methods.
• Strong knowledge of HSE project management and safety management.
• Very good in communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build strong, productive program.
• Computer literacy in Ms. Office, Ms. Project or another relevant computer program.
• Excellent in communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Work well in a team and be well presented with a professional manner.
• High ability to communicate in English, Chinese (Priority) or other languages;
• Be a problem solver, able to work under pressure with high responsibility.
