Working conditions:

- Working days: 5 days per week
- Working hours: 8.00 – 18.00 (include 1-hour lunch break)
- Days off: in turn (rotation) of days off (2 days off per week)
- Salary: Based on our policy/ Up to your achievement and contribution
- Pay change: Twice a year (January and July)
- Allowances: Overtime, commuting allowance, rental support allowance, seniority payment, learning support, 13-month salary, and so on
- Welfare: NSSF and Medical support by SJH
Duties
- Perform emergency surgical procedures, including appendectomies, hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, and other abdominal surgeries.
- Manage trauma cases that require surgical intervention.
- Perform preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative management of patients.
- Perform examinations to confirm that patients are strong enough to undergo surgery, explain the procedures, and discuss the risks involved.
- Work closely with anaesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Conduct detailed patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Interpret test results such as imaging (X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds) and laboratory tests to diagnose surgical conditions.
- Formulate appropriate treatment plans, including deciding when surgery is necessary.
- Monitor patients' recovery following surgery, ensuring timely detection and management of complications.
- Provide follow-up care, wound management, and pain control.
- Coordinate with rehabilitation teams to facilitate patient recovery.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including internists, radiologists, and oncologists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Consult with specialist surgeons for complex cases that may require expertise beyond general surgery.
- Communicate clearly with patients and their families, explaining the risks, benefits, and alternatives of surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including clinical notes, test results, and treatment updates.
- Participate in on-call rotas, responding to patient emergencies, and providing necessary medical interventions outside regular working hours.
- Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and advances through continuing medical education
- Provide follow-up consultations to track the healing process and address any complications.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical regulations, and ethical standards.
- Perform other tasks assigned by manger, chief, and clinical director.
Requirements
- Medical Degree from university
- Holding Medical Council
- Advanced knowledge of surgical techniques and postoperative care.
- Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations, particularly in emergency settings
- At least two years of experience with related position
- Language ability: fluent in Khmer, good command of English or Japanese is preferable
- Willing to learn, improve knowledge, and continue learning
- Ability to build good interpersonal relationships, and work well in a team with doctors, nurses, and non-medical staff
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, be flexible and prioritize job tasks
