Working conditions:

  • Working days: 5 days per week
  • Working hours: 8.00 – 18.00 (include 1-hour lunch break)
  • Days off: in turn (rotation) of days off (2 days off per week)
  • Salary: Based on our policy/ Up to your achievement and contribution
  • Pay change: Twice a year (January and July)
  • Allowances: Overtime, commuting allowance, rental support allowance, seniority payment, learning support, 13-month salary, and so on
  • Welfare: NSSF and Medical support by SJH

Duties

  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other relevant procedures.
  • Use endoscopic equipment to visualize and treat conditions of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, such as removing polyps, controlling bleeding, or taking biopsies.
  • Perform endoscopic examinations, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
  • Ensure that all procedures are carried out safely and effectively in compliance with clinical standards and protocols.
  • Assess and evaluate patients’ medical histories and symptoms to determine the need for endoscopic procedures.
  • Monitor patients following endoscopic procedures to ensure stable recovery and identify any immediate complications
  • Obtain informed consent and explain procedures to patients and their families.
  • Provide post-procedure instructions regarding medications, follow-up visits, and lifestyle changes
  • Work closely with gastroenterologists, surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including clinical notes, test results, and treatment updates.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists) to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Attend clinical meetings, case discussions, and departmental briefings to stay updated on medical practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to further develop medical knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in on-call rotas, responding to patient emergencies, and providing necessary medical interventions outside regular working hours.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate handover of patients at the end of shifts.
  • Comply with hospital policies, medical guidelines, and ethical standards.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and informed consent practices are upheld at all times
  • Participate in quality assurance programs to monitor and improve endoscopic services.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by manger, chief, and clinical director.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree from university
  • Holding Medical Council
  • At least two years of experience with related position
  • Language ability: fluent in Khmer, good command of English or Japanese is preferable
  • Willing to learn, improve knowledge, and continue learning
  • Ability to build good interpersonal relationships, and work well in a team with doctors, nurses, and non-medical staff
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, be flexible and prioritize job tasks
