SUNRISE JAPAN HOSPITAL Phnom Penh (SJH) is seeking qualified applicants to work with our medical professionals. Working conditions:

  • Working days: 5 days per week
  • Working hours: 8.00 – 17.00 (include 1-hour lunch break)
  • Days off: days off (2 days off per week)
  • Salary: Based on our policy/ Up to your achievement and contribution
  • Pay change: Twice a year (January and July)
  • Allowances: Overtime, commuting allowance, housing allowance, seniority payment, learning support, 13-month salary, and so on
  • Welfare: NSSF and Medical support by SJH

SJH is looking for a senior accountant who will be responsible for leading the company to respond the financial needs of the business and to prepare timely, accurate and relevant reports on accounting and taxation performance.

Reporting to: Company management and Accounting Manager

Duties

  • Finance and Accounting operations
  • Smooth execution of operational processes, such as processing payments, tracking of cashflows, assets and liabilities, tax management with appropriate control and in compliance to accounting standards.
  • Prepare financial policies and procedures and ensure documentation which are applicable to keep internal control.
  • Reporting
  • Provides accurate, relevant and timely reports to the company and all stakeholders to support decision-making and optimize financial and strategic performance.
  • Prepares administrative/statutory reports, and submit them to authorities within the deadline.
  • Training junior
  • Develops capabilities, and professionalism of the team to maintain financial system in the company
  • Budgeting and expense management
  • Coordinates with all departments to grasp their strategy and distribute necessary budges into each department to realize them.
  • Monitors expenses and strategies and collaborate with all departments to ensure these deals are not against public regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a leader position in the field mentioned in above job responsibility, such events as annual tax audit, tax audit and internal audit, is preferred
  • Prior experience working with accounts receivable and Cambodia taxation
  • Proficient in Email and MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records of the company by ensuring that no detail is overlooked
  • Can produce high-equality work regularly with good organization skills
  • Self-motivated, with high initiative, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment to meet the deadlines
  • Integrity, credibility, and commitment to company’s mission
  • Comfortable handling and storing confidential financial information
  • Problem solving and in-dept knowledge of Excel and other systems
