Job Presentation

Samaritan’s Purse International Relief (SP) is a nonprofit, nondenominational, evangelical Christian Organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. We are seeking one qualified candidate to fill the position below:

The HR Officer is responsible for providing support in HR Department which include personnel filling, updating staff information and documentation, and preparing events.

Report to: Senior HR Coordinator

Contract type: Fixed Specified Duration

Duration: 1 year (Renewable, subject to funding availability)

Duties

  • Create and manage all pending personnel documents including employment contract, insurance, ID cards, and performance review.
  • Staff movement into insurance company and coordinate the insurance payment and staff claim.
  • Update staff list and send it out to all concerned managers every month.
  • Coordinate new staff orientations and staff separation including setting up a designated log-in, workstation, and email address, etc.
  • Organize and coordinate events such as Staff birthday/farewell/new staff welcome tea.
  • Post on job announcement and transfer to relevant partners such as churches, NGOs etc.
  • Work on applicant’s shortlist and contact for an interview
  • Conduct reference checks for possible candidates.
  • Coordinate with ministry of labor law on medical check/workbook and so on
  • Create email request with new employment
  • Responsible for staff leaving both national and expat staff (certificate/existing checklist)
  • Coordinate with expat staff on house check in&out/NSSF/sim phone etc.
  • Distribute uniform to employee
  • Issue any kind of internal letters (transfer/promotion ect…)
  • Other task assigned by supervisor/manager

Requirements

  • Commitment to Samaritan’s Purse vision, mission, value, and policies.
  • Bachelor Degree/University student in Human Resource Management, Law, and Business Administration.
  • Minimum one year of experience in HR field.
  • Familiar with Cambodian Labor Law and HR best practice in Cambodia.
  • Ability to read and write confidently in Khmer and English.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills.
  • Effective organizational skill.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel.
  • Proactivity and creativity.
  • Be able to visit province field as required
