Kent Ridge International School (KIS) was established with the aim of becoming a school of scholars by nurturing young generation to be potential human resources which are full of knowledge and uphold integrity. Our school provides educational services from kindergarten to Grade 12, and our programs consist of Singapore curriculum aligned with the latest Ministry of Education (MOE) Singapore syllabus and Cambodian curriculum recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Cambodia. Currently, we are looking for a dynamic candidate who is interested in contributing to the field of education by becoming a part of our dynamic team.
Working Hour :
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm from Monday – Friday
- 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturday
Salary : Competitive benefit package based on performance
Report to : School Director
Duties
- In charge of Khmer curriculum department and ensure that the students’ learning and the teachers’ teaching quality are on par with the Cambodian curriculum and learning expectation.
- Effectively work with stakeholders related to the Cambodian curriculum requirement to ensure the complete compliance and effective communication among the stakeholders.
- In charge of documents and records related to the Khmer curriculum.
- Recruit competent Khmer curriculum teachers as needed.
- Work with teachers to ensure that high quality education is delivered.
- Handle the academic progress and wellbeing of students in the assigned classes.
- Work with other academic supervisors to formulate academic calendar and timetable for students and teachers.
- Conduct monthly meeting with respective teachers under the program in charge.
- Initiate new academic activities/projects for students to participate.
- Address the parents’ and students’ concern regarding the students’ learning and their emotional wellbeing as well as discipline.
- Execute tasks assigned by direct supervisor and/or the school’s management team.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor degree of education and/or equivalent degrees related to the required job scope.
- At least 2 years of progressive working experience in the Khmer program (high school) at the private school.
- Be result oriented and good at time management and planning.
- Be fluent in writing and speaking in Khmer language.
- Have a formal teaching background is an advantage.
- Have an open mindset and be willing to learn and contribute.
