Job Presentation

Hagar is a Christian international NGO founded in Cambodia in 1994. In 2009, Hagar expanded its model to Afghanistan and Vietnam, our focus is on working with women and children who are suffering from the impact of trauma resulting from slavery, trafficking, and abuse. We seek to magnify the impact of this work with individuals and families through our advocacy and capacity building work with other service providers and institutions.

Our Mission: We walk the whole journey of restoration with each survivor, empower communities to prevent exploitation, and strengthen systems to protect the vulnerable.

Hagar International Foundation is now looking for 02 qualified candidates to fulfil positions below

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

This role will ensure robust financial control and compliance with Hagar’s financial manual and other organization policies issued from time to time to promote good stewardship of funds and resources. This position is responsible for providing technical support to projects and to work closely with Hagar Finance team for organization directive. This role will demonstrate alignment to ‘One Hagar’ and Hagar values through their teamwork and day-to-day actions.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business administration or related field
  • Experience:
  • 1-2 years of progressively responsible finance and finance administration work
  • Experience in a culturally diverse, global organization
  • NGO experiences desired
  • Skills and Knowledge:
  • Skill in usage of computers and software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and Advanced knowledge of spread sheet and database packages.
  • Competent in both oral and written English language and strong proficiency in Khmer is required.
