Duties
- Pharmacy Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy owners, managers, and staff.
- Act as the main point of contact for product-related queries and support for pharmacies.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales and meet monthly targets within assigned pharmacy outlets.
- Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities by visiting existing and potential pharmacies regularly.
- Product Knowledge & Training:
- Ensure pharmacists are well-informed about the company’s products, benefits, and usage.
- Provide training sessions and product demonstrations to pharmacists and their staff.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on product specifications, safety, and best practices for end consumers.
- Merchandising & Stock Management:
- Work closely with pharmacies to ensure optimal shelf space and stock levels.
- Implement merchandising standards to enhance product visibility and sales.
- Monitor and manage stock inventory to prevent out-of-stock or overstock situations.
- Promotions & Marketing Activities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions, discounts, and other marketing initiatives.
- Assist in organizing and participating in product awareness campaigns and pharmacy-focused events.
- Analyze promotional performance and adjust strategies to maximize effectiveness.
- Product Education & Training:
- Provide product training and education to pharmacists, ensuring they understand the benefits and proper usage of the company's products.
- Organize and conduct educational seminars or in-store promotions to increase awareness.
- Stock & Inventory Management:
- Ensure optimal stock levels in pharmacies to avoid out-of-stock situations.
- Collaborate with pharmacies to maintain an attractive product display and ensure the products are easily accessible to customers.
- Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to enhance sales strategies.
- Provide management with regular updates on sales performance and any challenges faced in the market.
- Compliance:
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in pharmacy or healthcare sales, with a proven ability to manage relationships and meet sales targets in a retail environment.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, particularly in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Prior experience in dealing with pharmacies or healthcare professionals is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with pharmacy staff and customers.
- Strong organizational skills, including stock management and route planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to explain complex medical or product-related information in simple terms.
- Proficient in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
