Khmer Foundation for Justice Peace & Development - Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Khmer Foundation for Justice, Peace and Development(KF)is a Cambodian NGO, created in 1994 by two Cambodian Patriots, Mr. SON Sann and his son Dr. SON Soubert, witnessing the pressing situation of the orphans and street children following of two decades of warfare and the disruption of their family cell. Today Khmer Foundation is overseen by a mix of Cambodian and international professionals acting in the Board of Directors, and is managed by a highly committed Cambodian team, who believe care and education of children can break the cycle of poverty.

Khmer Foundation is running two child development centers, called Peaceful Children Homes, located in Kandal province (some 27km from Capital City of Phnom Penh) and Battambang province (some 300km from Capital City of Phnom Penh). These

two Homes are not only responding to the basic needs of the children, but also promoting equal opportunity to access higher education such as at Universities both in Cambodia and abroad.
